I used to think that sit-ups were the best way to get a strong core. However, with no results for a few weeks, I decided to explore a different way. A 10-minute dumbbell workout that was all standing exercises completely without a break.
No mat. No crunches. No flat-on-back workout. All I did was simple but tough dumbbell exercises — and the outcome was unexpected.
My stomach became flatter. My back that used to ache is no longer in pain. And the way I was standing? I have become more straight.
The First Signs of Change
But the most surprising part was in the middle of the workout.
In a matter of days, my stomach experienced some sort of cramp. The sensation was due to the fact that the strain, which always appeared in my lower back after working for long hours, had gone.
