Too aggressive brushing will erode your gums and enamel, whereas by not brushing and flossing at all, bacteria will be able to grow and enter your blood stream.

This, however, is not only the cause of tooth decay but also is connected with heart diseases, strokes and systemic inflammations.

You may think that gum infections are insignificant, yet, they are quite capable of letting harmful bacteria move to the different parts of the body (such as) the heart, lungs, and other organs.

You are probably under the impression that you take time off if you do not brush your teeth at night or floss, but the cost might be several years of your life missing.
