Non-Presented Characters: A Puzzle For The Audience
Despite a list of great actors, fans were quick to notice that some very important names were missing from the cast.
Among the notable names is Tom Holland, who is not seen as Spider-Man in the current list, which is because he has scheduling conflicts with Spider-Man 4 and the film The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan. Moreover, Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord is also missing as he is onto The Terminal List series. In an unbelievable twist of events, the part of Benedict Cumberbatch, who used to be Doctor Strange, was also not in the present list.
The studio has, however, indirectly hinted that this is not the final list. In the last quarter of the movie’s release, there will be some cast announcements.
The Russo Brothers Return To Direct
The Russo brothers, who are well known as the directors of the movie “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame,” will be making a comeback to direct “Avengers: Doomsday.” They were gone for way too long, so the reunion was much anticipated by the fans to see another one of their favorite chapters of the series. A lot of success is expected.
The script is co-written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. Michael and Stephen both have a solid track record in MCU. The production phase of the movie was started on the 26th of March in London, and it is programmed to continue until the 2025 August.
What Is Avengers Doomsday About?
At present there is not a full NCAA bracket available to the fans. However, it is rumored that the movie will be about the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four joining forces to confront a worldwide dimension alien menace. The title Doomsday hints at possible connections to iconic Marvel villains. Hence, there exists a broad spectrum of ideas around the participation of villains in the movie. As for Doctor Doom, that is already a topic of discussion for the devotees. They are already questioning the main villain.
Is This The Biggest Avengers Movie Ever?
Such a misfit group of Avengers, i.e., members from various periods and genres is not easy to manage. Assembling big stars like those from Marvel has never been done before. This movie is so much big than any other project in the MCU.
There are even more exciting details to come during the whole process. They plan to release the movie on May 1, 2026, but by the time of the writing, the film has already become the most anticipated project in 2025.
