The deaths of Simon Fisher-Becker, the beloved British thespian who played roles in the Harry Potter universe in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Doctor Who, have been publicly confirmed by his spouse, Tony Dugdale, on March 9, 2025. His character (Dorium) is one of the major figures of the series who can be seen in a variety of episodes, and he has become one of the most loved characters on the show apart from the Doctor himself. As one of the show’s most significant characters, he built strong connections with science fiction lovers, which led him to become part of numerous conventions across the globe.

Tributes Pour In for Fisher-Becker

His agent, Kim Barry, who had worked with him for 15 years and did share a touching statement: “Today, I lost not only a client but a dear friend. Simon was kind, funny, and a joy to work with.”
