NBC has announced that on May 3, 2025, Quinta Brunson, the creator, and star of Abbott Elementary, will be back in Studio 8H as the host of Saturday Night Live at NBC. There will be her and breakout pop artist Benson Boone who will make his SNL musical debut on the stage.
This will be the second time that Brunson has been seen hosting the long-running sketch comedy series. The first one was in April 2023 which was marked by widespread praise and even got her nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
