The 20th Anniversary Theatrical Release Starts April 25
Lucasfilm has already declared the re-issuing of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith in selected theatres all over the world from April 25, 2025. This limited one-week screening marks the 20 year anniversary of the movie since it was first shown in the cinema in 2005.
What sets it apart this time? The anniversary version will also be released in special 4DX l screenings in certain theatres. In this format, motion-enabled seats, wind, scent, and other effects are used to transport the viewer into the Star Wars universe. This is the first time the movie will be presented in such an interactive format.
Fans can not only watch but also book tickets through major theatre chains such as AMC, Regal, Cinemark, and Alamo Drafthouse.
